Job Description

  • Insure that all stakeholders apply BXP in a proper way
  • Revise all incoming BIM submittals to insure that clash criteria are applied
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to facilitate and accelerate data exchange workflows 
  • Revise all incoming QS sheets to insure that it is following the project method of measurement and BOQ
  • Discuss comments with consultants and resolve any misunderstandings.
  • Follow-up Material submittals approval to avoid any delays in related shop drawings
  • Prepare weekly and monthly engineering progress reports to be discussed in the BIM progress meeting
  • Invite the required stakeholders to workshop meeting
  • Prepare presentations to clients and consultants
  • Insure that red marking is continuously applied to approved shop drawings Continuously check of models health to recover any errors
  • Technical support for all teams in modeling issues and participating in the creation and modifying
  • Study & review received drawing package & highlight all trades clashes.
  • Fully coordinate between all drawings trades and approval processes. 
  • Prepare & follow up on drawings schedules (submission, approval, etc..) through bi-weekly reports (internally & externally).
  • Check & review shop drawings before submission for approval.
  • Follow up with the consultant on all comments & ensure to cover in the revised shop drawing after checking with the engineering team (site & Office) first.
  • Coordinate & ensure distribution of approved (IFC, Shop drawings, etc….) to concerned site personnel.
  • Validate & pre-confirm, follow-up & close any unexpected technical difficulties & queries in project till obtain the sufficient solutions with consultant & client through several channels (RFI, RFP, etc…).
  • Assist in preparing Methods of Statements and procedures related to construction.
  • Prepare in coordination with PM (site mobilization & traffic plan).
  • Fully coordinated with site team (construction & Tech.) prior to As-built preparation & submission to consultant for approval.
  • Attend weekly & monthly meetings with consultants & clients subjected to PM requirements.
  • Ability to develop, grow and maintain a strong relationship with clients to communicate effectively in high-level and field situations, express thoughts professionally, clearly, and concisely to visualize and calculate the scope of work that a project requires to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Knowledge of BIM Standards, Revit, and NAVIS is a must

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architecture Engineering.
  • Strong BIM Experience is a Must
  • 5-8 years of experience in the same field.
  • Experience in construction is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Leadership Skills
