Job Description
Agile Technologies is hiring a talented Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo branch.
About the Job:
- Tester will work closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the ALM process, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. Designs, develops, and executes all testing-related activities on applications.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
- Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
- Prepare / review test plans.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Execute tests (manual / automated).
- Report defects and assist in their understanding.
- Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
- Prepare and present test reports.
- Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.
- Perform functional, regression, end-to-end, GUI, and acceptance testing.
- Gather requirements from Business Analyst and analyzed them for testing perspective.
- Develop and execute test cases and test suites.
- Maintain and update test documentation between releases.
- Write and execute SQL queries to perform the back-end testing in the driver information database.
- Participate in standup meetings and other required QA meetings such as test planning, retrospective, QA status and update meetings.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.

- 3+ years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field.
- 3-5 years leading Test team under supervision of test manager
- Experience using relevant tool suites.
- Experience managing the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with clients and business partners.
- Good knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
