Job Description
The main responsibilities will be as follows below:-
- Prepare corporate governance files.
- Provide advice in relation to laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Provide legal advice in connection with major business initiatives and transactions, including corporate acquisitions/disposals.
- Prepare, review, negotiate and settle all other legal documentation and contracts.
- Brief and communicate with external legal counsel as required.
- Implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure that the organization is complying with all laws, industry codes of conduct, and company policies.
- Writing, drafting, and reviewing company contracts.
- Getting the best possible interest for the company.
- Maintaining the company's contracts and transactions to achieve the purpose of the contracts.
- Maintaining the balance of the contract, making it legally binding and enforceable, far from null.
- Drafting contracts legally is clear and binding.
- The ability to organize and list ideas in an organized manner and the possibility of establishing links between them, especially in the case of disputes arising from contracts.
- Covering contract risks, whether legal, technical, and administrative risks.
- The skill of analysis, starting from adapting the relationship legally and under what system this contract falls, up to the details of the parties' obligations, guarantees of implementation of obligations, and the approach that the relationship will legally follow during the validity of the contract or after its end
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- Excellent in MS Office
- Excellent abilities in contract writing (Arabic & English) and other legal memos.
- Above 5 years of experience in the same position.
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Gender: Males /Females.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Law degree for a top university in Egypt, major preferably in corporate law
- Licensed to practice law
- Outstanding communication skills
