Job Description

We are a fast-growing furniture factory seeking a highly skilled Technical Office Manager with expertise in furniture techniques, cutting lists, and quantity surveying. As our Technical Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical aspects of our furniture production, while also overseeing the day-to-day activities of our technical office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Manage and coordinate technical projects and activities, including furniture design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  2. Develop cutting lists and account quantities for all production projects.
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our office, including administrative tasks, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  4. Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of our furniture products and services.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in a technical management role, preferably in a furniture manufacturing or engineering environment.
  3. Proven experience managing technical teams and projects, with a strong understanding of furniture engineering and manufacturing processes.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  6. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
