Job Description
- Develop and implement engineering and maintenance strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.
- Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Forecast future infrastructure and equipment needs.
- Lead and manage engineering and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and technical proficiency.

- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitor the execution of projects to ensure timely completion within budget and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to all local, national, and international safety regulations and standards.
- Establish and maintain safety protocols for all maintenance and engineering activities.
- Conduct regular audits to assess risk and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
- Foster innovation to solve operational challenges and meet business needs.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure engineering and maintenance activities support organizational goals.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to secure the best outcomes for the organization.
- Present progress and performance reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
Experience
- 15+ years in engineering and maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and engineering software.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
