Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Tendering Sales Executive to join our team. This role will focus on B2B sales, specifically researching and acquiring tenders relevant to our business. The primary responsibility is to hunt for new business opportunities, gather detailed information on tenders, and ensure our successful participation in bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Research:
    Conduct comprehensive research to identify relevant tenders in our industry, including monitoring tender platforms, government portals, and private sector opportunities.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify potential business opportunities, clients, and partners through market research and networking.
  • Tender Acquisition:
    Gather all necessary information related to tenders, including submission requirements, timelines, and technical details, to ensure a successful application.
  • Proposal Development:
    Collaborate with internal teams (design, legal, finance) to prepare winning proposals and bids that meet the tender’s specifications and maximize our chance of success.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target companies, government agencies, and tender committees.
  • Sales Strategy:
    Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth through tender acquisition and other B2B sales opportunities.
  • Target Achievement:
    Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets by securing tenders and new business contracts.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and potential risks and opportunities in the market.
  • Reporting:
    Provide regular updates and reports on tender opportunities, application status, and sales pipeline progress to management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or a similar role.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate tender opportunities.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting successful tenders and proposals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Target-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the tendering processes and relevant platforms in the industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Understanding of contract law and tender compliance regulations.
