Job Description

  • Developing marketing strategies for new products
  • Evaluating and optimizing pricing strategies
  • Analysing market trends and preparing forecasts
  • Increasing brand awareness and market share
  • Responsible for planning product launches and events
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments
  • Developing and managing budgets

  • Develops a quarterly plan of activities for OTC & OTX brands, in coordination with Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
  • Leadership and People Management - Cutting-edge experience in leading marketing teams attracting, motivating, developing team members, and developing KPIs.
  • Continuously assess key performance indicators and other performance metrics and effectively manage weak performance.
  • Optimizing resources and increasing return on investment (ROI).
  • Align, develop, and effectively manage the marketing team on OTC/RX brands campaigns and develop relevant POS materials & activities to improve brand visibility & awareness.
  • Plan and execute pharmacists’ educational programs & activities to raise awareness about OTC & OTX brands.
  • Develops attractive programs for distributors’ account managers, and sales & telesales teams; to improve brand advocacy and proper follow-up.
  • Optimize distributors’ trade offerings in coordination with sales & distribution teams.
  • Prepares Key Account Marketing Agreements with individual & chain pharmacies (Trade & Display Agreements); and ensures timely execution.
  • Regularly track the execution of Trade Key Account Plans and the impact of activities on overall performance, forecast, and stock management at each account, measure ROI, monitor the financial viability of the account, and collect & report the full range of analytics in a timely manner.
  • Finance, Demand & Logistics Management, Distribution, Sales & Marketing team), through building a strong internal network and providing a business rationale, reaching consensus, resolving conflicts, and escalating issues.
  • Regularly collect and provide Management with information about the marketing activities of other pharmaceutical companies and identify market trends.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, with 2+ years in trade marketing.
  • • 8+ years of experience in commercial roles in the healthcare industry (preferably in multinational companies).
  • • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences (preferably with an MBA degree).
  • • Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in spoken and written English & Arabic.
  • • Demonstrated success in trade offering, brand visibility & consumer engagement.
  • • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.
  • • Established experience in pharmacies and distributors’ engagement.
  • • Thinks strategically and demonstrates learning agility
