Job Description
- Manage and supervise Production Account Executive in submitting orders while working
closely with brand Manager for improving Demand Planning - Develops, recommends, implements, and monitors departmental budgets
- Work on continually upgrading quality of products
- Follow up on Daily Production Sheet to ensure that sufficient quantities are being ordered
and lead times are being adhered to - Conduct periodical Factory visits to build relationships with suppliers and ensure production
process is adhering to pre-set agreements - Create Production System to improve business efficiency through reducing Lead Times and
faulty product margins. - Research and source new suppliers for all product lines.
- Work closely with Brand Manager for Export Orders and ensure all orders are ready as per
promised delivery times. Supply must be provided as soon as order is received. - Work closely with Accounting Department to improve cash flow through managing delayed
payments to suppliers. - Provide managerial support and direction of Production.
- Create, implement and oversee a set of performance metrics and KPIs measuring the
effectiveness of the team & ensure that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize
their potential and contribution to the company - Create and implement Company Standard Operating Procedures for all functions of
Company
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administrations, Production Management. MBA/post graduate degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience as a Supply Chain Manger including these areas:
- Inventory Management, Planning/Production scheduling, Logistics, Manufacturing
Operations, Distribution
- Pharmaceutical Industry background is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong Oracle and systems skills desirable
- Statistical forecasting experience recommended but not required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
