Job Description
- General Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to the boot camps program details for learners (In the centres under his/her responsibility) and help them to choose what training topics suit them; and keep giving support and guidance to learners until the end of the training, where he/she trains them on life skills and tools that help them to use the acquired knowledge in a practical way.
- Internal & External Communication Relations:
- Coordination with the operations officers, Outreach Officers, and field Officers admin, on everything related to Boot camps
- Maintain effective communication with the beneficiaries to ensure their continuity of training and obtain the maximum benefit that will reflect positively on their working lives.
- General Principles
- The incumbent commits to observe discretion on any information related to the organization functioning. She/he will conduct her/his duties in respect of the Charter of Terre des hommes (TDH) and TDH Safeguarding Policy. She/he commits to ensuring a high level of children participation and will always work in the best interest of the child.
- TDH intervenes without any affiliation for politics, religion or financial profit. The incumbent will direct her/his activities and engagements without preoccupation with political, racial or religious affiliation.

Job Requirements
- Working conditions
- Work requires field visits, physical demands prolonged standing and walking, frequent handling of light objects/ medium. Work may require routine travel.
- Requirements for the position
- Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: development, humanities, community & public administration, governance, general management or any relevant studies to the job requirements.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with INGOs
- Demonstrated community outreach experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with extremely vulnerable groups.
- Awareness of the security context and the political situation in Egypt for refugees.
- Having a large network of relationships with refugee communities in Cairo and Giza and being familiar with their diverse cultures
- Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines;
- Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding ability to listen, and exemplary attention to detail.
- Good organization with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Desirable:
- Previous experience working with refugees.
- Previous experience working in a place that provides training
- Languages:
- Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken is a must.
- IT Knowledge
- Excellent command of MS Office programs.
- Familiar with dealing with e-learning platforms.
