Job Description
- Respond to requests for information from key stakeholders on a wide range of trade and industry issues.
- Read and interpret legislation, statutes, economic review reports & outlook and analyze the impact on the business sector.
- Write and edit policy reports initiated by the team.
- Read the international & regional reports on the economic status of Egypt and accurately synthesize key findings and policy recommendations for the stakeholders.
- Contribute project concept ideas individually and as a member of teams. Assist in linking projects between departments and with other organizations.
- Participate in internal and external meetings as needed.
- Contribute to blogs, newsletters and other written products.
- Perform other IMC duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum master degree in economics, statistics, or business.
- At least 10 years of experience
- At least 7 years of previous experience in policy research and analysis
- Bachelor in Economic studies education is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of trade and industry polices
- Builds and maintains good team relations.
- Collaborates effectively with other staff members and representatives from partner organizations.
- Identifies the organization of tasks and the time schedules to help accomplish goals efficiently, creatively and effectively.
- Self-motivated and works autonomously with minimal supervision
