MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To build, manage, optimise and monitor a cloud or multi-cloud environment within Mediclinic, and to support a specific digital strategy project or initiative
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cloud engineering, cloud architecture, cloud system analysis, agile methodology or a related field
DESIRED EDUCATION
Postgraduate degree in related field and/or various cloud certifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and delivering cloud based ICT solutions Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multiple, diverse cloud technologies like cloud platforms Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ICT cloud solution management, agile principles and development methodologies
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in a multi-cloud environment preferably Azure, AWS and / or GCP Exposure to strategic, new and emerging cloud technology trends Experience in the healthcare industry
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Cloud financial management, models and budgeting Disaster recovery methodologies Experience in design, implementation, managing and monitoring of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare High Availability Clusters Experience in design, implementation, managing, optimising and monitoring of a multi-cloud environment Experience in Terminal Services / Remote Desktop Services Experience in the deployment implementation, managing and monitoring of Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL/CENTOS/Ubunthu etc) Expert understanding of cloud-based services and infrastructure Expert understanding of high availability and load balancing across different technologies IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager Network infrastructure understanding with a cloud related focus Performance analysis on Microsoft and Linux based servers Solarwinds monitoring for Networks, Servers and Applications Various database technologies e.g. MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, etc. Various development languages e.g. Java, C#, R, Python, etc. Various frontend web development languages e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc. Veeam Backup and Replication technologies
