Job Purpose


Handle logistics processes (Export / Import) to ensure delivery of goods on time in full and as per the required standards.


Key Accountabilities


  • Ensure completion of all necessary import/export documents in light of international/regional trade agreements and legal requirements. That includes liaising with export control authority, chamber of commerce, general chemistry authority, embassies and ministry of exterior affairs, export certifications inspection companies, General Security, import authority etc
  • Liaise & follow up with customs authority & customs clearance agents to ensure release of import/export goods according to the set time frame
  • Establish and update a database of shipping agencies and selects the most adequate agency according to time/cost effectiveness and as per destination
  • Liaise & follow up with shipping agencies and trace shipments to ensure delivery of import/export goods according to the set time frame
  • Liaise with insurance companies to insure export goods
  • Collect all necessary export/import documents like (B/L, COO, Insurance certificate, SGS)
  • Ensure dispatch of export goods as per the relevant export standards (check lists) as per each destination country
  • Issue Monthly reports on the Overall shipments
  • Responsible for SAP cycle for all export/ import shipments / GRN for all import shipments
  • Manage and report and control export / import logistic expenses
  • Comply with QHSE policies and procedures

Requirements


  • College / University degree
  • Relevant logistics experience, must be well versed with all export / import regulations
  • Result Focused
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent CRM Skills
  • Self-Motivation
  • Ability to work under Stress
  • Leadership and managerial skills
  • Very good command of English
