Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Caduceus Lane is looking to hire a Software Marketing Lead who will play a key role in developing the marketing strategy for the launch of the company’s B2C and B2B software and digital solutions portfolio. 

Leading this dynamic, fast-paced position puts you at the center of defining the go-to-market strategy, execution plan, and budget allocation strategy via a cross-management mix of external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams on strategic digital portfolio/brands direction. The Software Marketing Lead will lead the advancement of the strategic direction with other experts to ensure effective tactical executions follow the agreed upon strategy, brand guidelines, allocated budget, and set timelines. 

A strong record in the software and digital solutions industry and a proven capacity to lead a brand management team and collaborate with business leadership to develop comprehensive, best-in-class marketing plans are vital in this role, which shall serve as a strategic backbone for the digital solutions business line and its infrastructure cultivation and value growth. 

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Developing audience-centric, go-to-market plans that align with the company’s business objectives and strategic direction.
  • Setting the strategy for assigned vertical/industry, including micro-verticals inside the vertical to target and overall go-to-market strategy
  • Leading the brand(s) lifecycle by streamlining a strategic portfolio marketing direction, in-market brand communication strategy, and evolution of brand guidelines. 
  • Integrating analytics-driven strategic management that is empowered by market research, competitive intelligence, in-depth understanding of audience personas and the customer lifecycle, and informed decision-making. 
  • Contributing significantly to the development of the company’s global software demand generation strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and like-minded demand generation experts. 
  • Developing, executing, monitoring, and optimizing software demand generation campaigns to drive awareness, build a reputation, generate demand, maximize customer engagement, and boost sales.
  • Creating and implementing integrated marketing campaigns to further develop SMART software solutions
  • Driving the successful execution of programs and tactics through effectively leading the product management team.
  • Developing and promoting a differentiated brands/products communication direction to resonate with the target audience. 
  • Collaborating with sales, product, and other marketing functions in developing messaging and content strategies that span the phases of the customer lifecycle from acquisition to advocacy. 
  • Planning the launch of new products and offerings and driving launch execution plans with cross-functional teams. 
  • Leading customer engagement and communications programs and developing strategies to advance and enhance the customer lifecycle phases of engagement, adoption, value actualization, and advocacy. 
  • Collaborating with commercial and account management teams in developing customer retention, upsell, and cross-sell strategies. 
  • Engaging and working closely with regional commercial teams to achieve local demand generation targets, ensuring stakeholder alignment with campaign plans and activities, and ensuring the effective localization of marketing strategies and communications. 
  • Sharing expertise and knowledge about markets and buyers across marketing, product, and sales teams, as well as developing sales enablement plans that include sales content and marketing tools. 
  • Optimizing sales enablement efforts to build an informed force of motivated sellers. 
  • Manage campaign budgets, recommend course corrections, ensure effective campaign interlock, and balance campaign spending based on market dynamics and campaign effectiveness
  • Gaining and sharing market insights to focus on key priorities that will help accelerate regional and national growth. 
  • Interviewing customers and partners to identify new industry micro-verticals to advance market-conscious marketing strategies. 
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting brand market performance, including campaigns, launch, sales enablement, win-loss, and customer experience efforts to the strategic marketing leadership.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Professional Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in marketing software solutions and technology industries. 
  • A record of experience in commercial software and digital solutions industries is a must. Cross-markets experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive experience that spans from early stages to achieving established products with a mastery of end-to-end product lifecycle management. 
  • Corporate-Corporate marketing acumen with B2B product/business management experience. 
  • An interest in technology and ability to translate software features into real-world value. 
  • Technology Industry knowledge seeker, continuously pursuing, trialing, and dissecting the latest marketing trends and new technologies trends in the industry and its market.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the able to multi-task 
  • Highly collaborative with the ablility to build productive, positive professional relationships internally and externally 
  • Must have experience developing data-driven; customer-centric content marketing strategies with social and analytical capacities to connect and resonate seamlessly with key stakeholders.
  • Dynamic, articulate, energetic and self-motivating personality with demonstrated ability to translate industry and customer insights into an executable strategic vision 
  • Leadership skills and a mindset that is built on collaboration and armed with inspiring and influential skills that resonate among various stakeholders, from product development teams to in-market commercial teams, in order to achieve results in a global, matrix-managed organization

Academic and Experience Requirements

  • At least 12 years of academic and professional experience  in a relevant field, with strong business acumen and relevant marketing, brand, and portfolio management record. 
  • At least 4 years of experience in a marketing management leadership role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management. Experience in the development and implementation of project methodologies and standards is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience. 
  • Cross-markets experience is a plus.
  • Corporate experience is a must.
  • Experience in managing a Brand Management/Marketing Team is a plus.
