Job Description
- Collect & analyze cost information
- Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
- Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
- Analyze and report profit margins per product, product group and customer group.
- Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management
- Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements.
- Provide technical and other support for pricing projects as needed.
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Prepares journal entries in support of the month-end close process.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations monthly.
- Manage Cost Accounting Team.
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
- Previous experience from (7 Yrs: 15 Yrs) in costing, stock control & budgeting
- +3 yrs experience in the similar position – Food Industry is A Must.
- CMA designation is preferable
- ERP experience a must
- Experience in the preparation of financial reporting and some disclosures.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing staff.
- Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with LOOKUP functions and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
