Job Description
Job Title: Medical Biller
Location: Anywhere in Egypt (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor
Work Schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM PST (Includes a 1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance providers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and follow up on unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and claim rejections
- Maintain accurate patient billing records and update payment information in the system
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, medical billing regulations, and company policies
Job Requirements
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 years of U.S. medical billing experience (experience in mental health and Medicaid billing is a plus)
✅ Tech-savvy with experience using billing software, EHR systems, and online claim submission portals
✅ Stable internet connection (at least 40 MBPS) for seamless remote work
✅ Ability to work 9 AM - 6 PM PST with a 1-hour lunch break
