We are building technology products and services to enable digital payments in the current supply chain and to enable digital lending for our customers and partners. We aim to engage the entire retail ecosystem in Egypt whose market potential stands at US $50B in market value and caters to the needs of more than 400K+ merchants.
- This Product Manager role will be responsible for the roadmap contribution, stakeholder communication, design and development - sprint planning, requirements gathering and to build products that support deemed brand & wholesale partners. This is a unique opportunity to learn multiple tech stacks and manage a product that has multi-billion dollar impact.
- The candidate will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, transforming the data, and research based insights into customer-centric product/feature development and evangelize and track key business and product metrics for their product verticals in the Payment and Wallet Services.
Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role) - Ideate, Define, Plan and Manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements based on data-driven methodologies
- Work very closely with cross-functional stakeholders( including and not limited to business development teams, operations team, software developers, embedded engineers, design engineers, data scientists and business analysts) to execute the product roadmap for payment services ecosystem
- You will research the compliance payment frameworks from the regulatory point set by Egyptian Central Bank to help in preventing non-compliant releases
- Create alignment within the organization through user interviews and feedback from stakeholders to deliver successfully on the needs for both external and internal customers
- Create product plans, user journeys, product requirements and documentation that are informative, concise and drive effective decision making and accountability for product success from design through delivery
- Measure and report on the success metrics for features and the KPIs to ensure that we are in line with the business goals as well product goals for adoption, and generating incremental value on developed features. Also, deep dive on the feature metrics to understand patterns with aim to uncover insights for business growth
- You will - at any point in time - be working on understanding cross-dependencies with partner platforms and help in documenting and exploring new avenues to improve customer and business experience
- You will drive adoption & growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance merchant and supplier payment experience and remove friction points
- You will measure improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives.
- You will work closely with accounting teams to enable reconciliation and settlements within the ecosystem, primarily merchant payments, seller payments and vendor payments
- You will work within product team in enabling lending for merchants by managing interactions with third-party MFIs and Banks
- You will work within the product team enabling wallet payments to create seamless buying experience for retailers (merchants)
