Job Description
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents and participate in regular meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Observe and understand students’ behaviour and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
Job Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree related to your subject specialism
- Qualified Teacher Status / PGCE
- At least two years post qualification teaching experience
- Experience of teaching in the British education system either in the UK or in British international schools
- Develop the knowledge of different age group student in our lesson plan during training.
- Good understanding of student and their behaviour.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Be familiar with the recent development of IGCSE and A level teaching theory and practice.
- Improve yourself through continuous study and be willing to try new ideas.
- Be willing to accept others’ good ideas and share your opinions.
- Frequently reflect on your work and share your experience with the international teaching partner and other colleagues.
- Support the College Development Plan generally and in so far as it relates to English subject.
- Attend staff meetings and briefings as and when required by the head of department, and Head of School.
