Job Description
- Design and maintain administrative systems that deliver outcomes based on the BCCIS’s aims and goals
- Develop process measures that are affordable and that will enable value for money decisions for those managing resources
- Prepare information for publications and returns for all agencies and stakeholders within statutory guidelines
- Monitor the relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements and the effect they have on your school and staff
- Ensure people have a clear understanding of the policies and procedures and the importance of
putting them into practice - Ensure the safe security operation of all school premises
- Ensure a safe environment for the stakeholders of the school to provide a secure environment in which due learning processes can be provided
- Seek professional advice on insurance on appropriate insurances for the school and implement and manage such schemes accordingly.
- Manage all BCCIS departments to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and accountability
- Develop, review and monitor ‘non-education’ staff contracts
- Supervising the Student Affairs and Files Administration. Following up on transfers and
admission to the school in terms of legal aspects that must be in line with the ministerial
decisions. - Supervising the Marketing and PR department. Following up on marketing activities, events,
social media, etc....... - Supervising the Admissions department. Following up on new enrollment numbers, conversion
rate and leavers. Monitor and update the admissions process as needed to match the market - Supervising the trips and activities department. Following up on the process and new ideas to
ensure an interesting and variant activities are in place. - Keeping all school rules and regulations, whether related to the Canadian side or the Ministry of
Education and all the different contracts that were made with the school’s suppliers - Responsible for solving the problems of parents and students in coordination with the Canadian
side - Addressing all problems and complaints of students and parents related to the transportation
service
Job Requirements
- Experience in business management, planning and financial oversight
- Experience in personnel management, including hiring and supervision of employees
- Ability to multi-task in a diverse and fast moving office setting
- A high level of written and verbal communication in English and Arabic
- The ability to work both as a team member and independently
- Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with office computer hardware and software
