Interior Designer (Design - Execution)

We are a group companies specializing in providing construction services based in Dammam - Saudi Arabia.  We are currently in the process of setting up Fit-out division and looking for an experienced, aspired Interior Designer to manage the division. The successful candidate should fulfill the the following duties and responsibilities

• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
• Set costs and project fees according to budget
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
• Produce “sample” and “mood products”
• Supervise work progress
• Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
• Consider how the space will be used and how people will move through the space
• Sketch preliminary design plans, including layouts, working drawings, electrical, etc.
• Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
• Prepare final plans, using computer applications
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements
