Job Description

  • Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user hardware (PC's, printers, mobile devices, etc.).
  • Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user software applications (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
  • Participate in Infrastructure projects with the Infrastructure teams.
  • Work with system administrators for end-user data backup and restore procedures.
  • Work with Network administrators for branch connectivity support.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all end-user IT requests.
  • Maintain Records for all requests, track until resolution and archive for future reference using company helpdesk tools.
  • Escalate IT issues for resolution when needed and in accordance with the Helpdesk policy.
  • Communicate service outage/disruption notices to users that are affected by the outage.
  • Maintain service records for maintenance carried out.
  • Manage IT assets inventory from purchasing to scrapping.

Job Requirements

  • Support experience in MS Windows (server and client), MS Office, antivirus, etc.
  • A background in Networking (LAN / WAN, and Wireless).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • End user-oriented and cool-tempered.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, printers, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Well organized and adheres to policies and procedures.
  • Fair knowledge of ITIL practices and ITSM tools.
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts.
  • Certification in ITIL, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
