Job Description
- Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user hardware (PC's, printers, mobile devices, etc.).
- Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user software applications (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
- Participate in Infrastructure projects with the Infrastructure teams.
- Work with system administrators for end-user data backup and restore procedures.
- Work with Network administrators for branch connectivity support.
- Act as the first point of contact for all end-user IT requests.
- Maintain Records for all requests, track until resolution and archive for future reference using company helpdesk tools.
- Escalate IT issues for resolution when needed and in accordance with the Helpdesk policy.
- Communicate service outage/disruption notices to users that are affected by the outage.
- Maintain service records for maintenance carried out.
- Manage IT assets inventory from purchasing to scrapping.
Job Requirements
- Support experience in MS Windows (server and client), MS Office, antivirus, etc.
- A background in Networking (LAN / WAN, and Wireless).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- End user-oriented and cool-tempered.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, printers, mobile devices and other tech products.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Well organized and adheres to policies and procedures.
- Fair knowledge of ITIL practices and ITSM tools.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts.
- Certification in ITIL, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
