Job Overview:
Managing and co-coordinating day to day task related to completion of production required by assemblies with lowest cost possible. Maintaining a disciplined workforce who can perform in a safe environment and meeting targets., develop & implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes to produce high quality products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide direction to all workforces in department.
- Assist in planning and take decisions whenever required.
- Co-ordinate with our customers (Assemblies) to provide good quality parts in time.
- Take part in the different meetings that may be held.
- Be responsible for inventory and stock control.
- Co-ordinate with the leaders of other sections on a daily basis to discuss day to day production issues.
- Assist Setters on day to day technical issues.
- Take disciplinary actions whenever required.
- Co-ordinate with tool shop and prioritize required tools.
- Induction training of new staff on all matters related to the best use of human and technical resources.
- Work within Environmental and Health & Safety requirements procedures.
- Work within the Quality Management System requirements and procedures including Certification and Customer requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering Chemical, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in Metals Plating Industry.
- Good English skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, often changing assignments on short notice.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
- Ability to compromise, persuade and negotiate with colleges.
- Good communication skills.
- Responsible, available and flexible attitude towards work
- Familiarity with Injection processes, company policies, and the requirements of the job.
- Always willing to enhance the knowledge and skills of myself and those of my subordinates through ongoing training.
