The Assortment Merchandiser keeps our systems updated and has amazing tools at his/her disposal. Whether it’s reviewing the price of mangos or replacing a boring banana photo with a delicious one, the assortment merchandiser is crucial for the operations and shopping experience of our users. Other activities may include cross-selling techniques and product placement to maximize operational excellence.
- Scan product availability in the shop - making sure that all the products in the shop reflect correctly in our system (barcode, quantity, price, image and description).
- Check product out of stock
- Assist in photography and always making sure that we keep enhancing our database by
selecting the new items on the shelves and requesting shoots - Creating daily reports to analyze the status of the shop
- Keeping a good relationship with shop managers to inquire about stock availability
- Traveling outside the country to launch the shop
Job Requirements
- Able to perform complex tasks that require high level of focus
- Solid analytical skills and market research background
- Adequate command of excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently or in groups
