Job Description
The senior graphic designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing innovative visuals for digital and social media platforms as well as creative presentations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in designing for websites, mobile apps, email marketing, social media, presentations and content marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Translate concepts into visually appealing graphics, layouts and designs for websites, mobile apps, social media platforms, presentations and other digital media.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint etc.
• Work with the Marketing team to understand the requirements and objectives of each project including presentations.
• Develop multiple concepts and ideas for each project including presentations and present options to the team.
• Ensure designs are responsive, optimized for different devices including mobile phones and tablets.
• Ensure all graphics, images and fonts follow brand guidelines and are optimized for the web and print.
• Collaborate with copywriters and developers to ensure designs are implemented properly from concept to launch across all media.
• Provide guidance and art direction to junior designers and graphic designers.
• Keep abreast of trends in graphic design and constantly improve skills.
• Ability to design high-impact and creative presentations, in addition to digital and social media graphics.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a digital agency.
• Proficiency in design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong visual and interactive design skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, and user experience.
• Familiarity with web design, mobile interfaces, responsive design and user experience. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and UI/UX best practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Creative flair, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Updated portfolio featuring samples of digital, social and presentation designs.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related visual design field.
