Job Description
- Ensure an accurate and timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
- Monthly, quarterly and year-end preparation of financial statements.
- Projects’ cost of sale allocation as per revenue recognition according to IFRS 15.
- Applying IFRS 16 financial leasing standard, recognize right of use asset associated with lease liability.
- Hyperion financial Management (HFM) implementation with budgeting team.
- Review intercompany cost allocations and monthly balances confirmation
- Handling and review all types of taxation affairs with taxation team.
- Review and confirm monthly payroll cost re-allocation.
- Approval on creation vendors with Oracle support team and accounts payable team.
- Support taxation team regarding any tax inspections.
- Handling the whole process of the external audit.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as as GL senior accountant
- ● Awareness of business trends
- ● Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- ● Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- ● Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- ● Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- ● Accuracy and attention to detail
- ● Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- ● BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
