Job Description
- Creating and implementing high quality visual merchandising strategy for all locations through seasonal event calendar and brand guidelines.
- Changing displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
- Use artistic skills or computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Mock shop or Adobe creative suite, to create visuals and plans.
- Create visual merchandising packs to communicate product guidelines and features.
- Visit branches and train sales team on-floor visual merchandising techniques and concepts, so that they can help maintain display.
- Measure the impact of merchandising action plans and issue weekly report with photographs, comment and measurements of sales impact.
- Follow and implement brand seasonal VM guidelines.
- Help prepare and invite in-store VM team to attend brand training events and workshops.
- Guide the installation of window and in store animations, design events and campaigns and event calendars.
- Conduct regular store and market visit to check adherence to brand standards.
- Stay up to date with brand activities and external competitor’s activities.
- Define the implementation in store for all launches/ animations.
- Review the suggested merchandising plan linked to launches and provide input.
- Communicate the merchandising guidelines to the stores and follow-up on installation.
- Ensure merchandising levels in the store are met as per the brand’s guidelines.
- Follow the performance of the ranges and categories and adjust the merchandising if necessary.
- Propose any merchandising amendments enabling and optimizing of the turnover
- Manage new projects merchandising (order and implementation).
- Implement new store concept whenever needed.
- Work on the planograms for new store openings.
- Determine and order the store merchandising elements and small furniture/ decoration.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser for minimum 3 years. Preferably in similar field (Retail).
- Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
- Solid experience in field visual merchandising including Planogram, sign, interior displays and space utilizing.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools
- Knowledge of current visual merchandising trend and best practice.
- Proficiency in MS office.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Creative and innovative thinker.
- Able to travel inside/outside Egypt.
