Job Description
- Receiving client’s requests and purchasing orders/project confirmation and sending acknowledgments.
- Identifying the key requirements and translation project specifications during the pre-production phase.
- Project file preparation for translation including file suitability check and conversion to editable file whenever applicable.
- Setting and providing projects quotations to the clients.
- Projects Monitoring and supervision to ensure compliance with agreed upon schedule and deadlines for every step in the process.
- Assigning competent translators, revisers, and proof-readers to the translation project according to the requirements of each project.
- Handling all communications with the assigned team, disseminating information, issuing instructions related to the assignment, and managing the translation project to all parties involved.
- Monitoring constant conformity to the client-TSP agreement, project specifications, and, where necessary, communicating with all parties involved in the project, including the client.
- Verification of the delivered project against the relevant agreements and specifications.
- Ensuring translation team queries concerning projects are answered.
- Issuing the Translation Affidavit, when requested.
- Delivery of projects to the clients.
- Communicating any project-related issues to the Operations Manager.
- Managing and handling of client feedback.
- Managing the process of freelancers’ selection including evaluation, qualification and assigning of the freelancers in coordination with operations manager.
- Maintaining and updating freelancers’ database.
- Maintaining and updating project database (Project Tracking Sheet).
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Role and Responsibilities as business account manager,
- Communication with clients to create new business leads.
- Follow up on new and/ or existing business leads.
- Expand client database within managed accounts and/ or adding new accounts.
- Receive customer complaints and resolve them in coordination with the quality department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and preferred in translation.
- Appropriate documented competence to support the TSP in delivering translation services
- Excellent command of at least 2 languages
- Extensive cultural knowledge in both languages
- Fluent English is a must .
