Job Description
- Prepare purchase orders for all sections according to criteria set for each order type whether re-order or new range of items to ensure variety and availability of all items.
- Update database and all associated information systems with every purchase order, order status, supplier details, vendor details, supplier delivery schedule, and new and canceled suppliers to ensure accurate and up-to-date data is available to all parties.
- Record weekly supplier performance feedback in terms of delivery time, availability (range and quantity)
- Participate with operations and inventory control team in quarterly stock take of warehouse and store.
- Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, and operations before stock take in order to make necessary preparations.
- Conduct daily store visits per visit checklist to ensure display and availability of items in the warehouse and floor—report feedback to supervisor.
- Coordinate with all departments in head office to resolve any problems that may cause delay in the supply process.
- Maintain healthy stock level, avoid overstock and slow-moving stock through sales analysis, correct orders,
- Check daily sales of the section in comparison to the past month or past year, take corrective actions to adjust order strategy, and/or report feedback to the Trading department about missing items, unavailable suppliers, promotions, or any concern affecting sales.Preferable Bachelors degree of Business Administration; or equivalent
- Fresh graduate
- Intermediate proficiency in English
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office
