Job Description
- Determine and study client’s requirements and desires through several meetings.
- Translating client’s needs into primary plans.
- Producing drawings that include floor plans, modifications, and side sections necessary to implement the specific design of the carpentry and furniture units.
- Production of drawings related to electricity, plumbing, gas and other services.
- Create 'mood boards' to sample the design vision.
- Specify materials, colour palettes and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Enhance and improve interior spaces’ functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings.
- Design interior spaces electrical, ceiling, plumbing layouts and elevations.
- Create tables for inventorying the quantities of raw materials and listing them in the general quotation.
- Efficiently doing the measurements of the company's sites and projects.
- Follow-up on the work of the workshops, for example carpentry, metal and marble work.
- Submit the drawings to the site manager and supervisor with a full explanation of each item, from design, budget, colours, materials, timeframe, etc.
- Following up the development of work with the site manager and supervisor to ensure that the work is carried out on the right track.
- Participate in the development of the quotation, description, pricing and inventory.
- Considering the time frame of the designs, carpentry work & furniture and implementation.
- Place requests for raw materials and supervise the installation of design elements.
- Take notes in the site and make recommendations to help simplify ongoing design projects.
- Follow up with the client, coordinate the business plan with him, and coordinate meetings to successfully reach his need and the end time of the project within the specified time frame efficiently and professionally.
- Drawing visual designs periodically and displaying them on social media, showing the company’s style and taste to compete in the design field.
- Search and follow up new trends, styles and colours in the interior design field.
Job Requirements
• Experience of at least 4 years in the field of interior designing, architecture and furniture.
• Proficient in Auto CAD and 3D max.
• High ability of coordination with consultants and execution at sites.
• Mastering in drawings and techniques of furniture and carpentry.
• Experience in work of BOQ.
• Expertise in styling, layout, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Good leadership, communication, presentation and organization skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office.
• Valid Egyptian driving license with full-time access to a reliable vehicle.
• Preferable from Maadi residence.
