Job Description
- Supervises and coordinates daily accounting operations within the Finance and Accounting Department to support the achievement of the overall departmental goals and objectives.
- Manages and provides expertise across the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting roles e.g. AR, AP, GL, FA, etc.…
- Collates, prepares, and interprets reports, accounts, and financial statements within the required time periods and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Implements, maintains and recommends developments on the ERP system used to ensure proper control is set over the financial procedures and records.
- Assists in the development, documentation, implementation, and improvement of financial policies and procedures.
- Supports the HoD in developing financial and business intelligence reports using the BI tool selected by the company.
- Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
- Oversees and reviews the preparation of the periodical VAT reports and ensures proper submission of the reports to the ZATCA.
- Supports the HoD in ensuring that cost allocations are in line with the company’s business units.
- Prepares a monthly profitability analysis following the selected dimensions by the HoD (by service, department,…etc.)
- Oversees the preparation of the daily cash position.
- Oversees the preparation of the bank reconciliations
Job Requirements
- 7 years of progressive experience leading towards a senior position in accounting.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is a MUST.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A solid understanding of financial reporting & accounting principles, organization, and planning.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, D365, Oracle SAP, etc…).
- Previous experience in any Tier 1 ERP implementation.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
