Job Description

  • Supervises and coordinates daily accounting operations within the Finance and Accounting Department to support the achievement of the overall departmental goals and objectives. 
  • Manages and provides expertise across the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting roles e.g. AR, AP, GL, FA, etc.…
  • Collates, prepares, and interprets reports, accounts, and financial statements within the required time periods and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 
  • Implements, maintains and recommends developments on the ERP system used to ensure proper control is set over the financial procedures and records.
  • Assists in the development, documentation, implementation, and improvement of financial policies and procedures. 
  • Supports the HoD in developing financial and business intelligence reports using the BI tool selected by the company. 
  • Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Oversees and reviews the preparation of the periodical VAT reports and ensures proper submission of the reports to the ZATCA.
  • Supports the HoD in ensuring that cost allocations are in line with the company’s business units. 
  • Prepares a monthly profitability analysis following the selected dimensions by the HoD (by service, department,…etc.) 
  • Oversees the preparation of the daily cash position. 
  • Oversees the preparation of the bank reconciliations

Job Requirements

  • 7 years of progressive experience leading towards a senior position in accounting.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is a MUST.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting & accounting principles, organization, and planning.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, D365, Oracle SAP, etc…).
  • Previous experience in any Tier 1 ERP implementation.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
