Job Description
Our company is looking for a Software Project Manager to join our team who is able to:
- collaborate with the lead architect, developers, business analysts and company executives in order to determine the software's technical direction, system design and implementation plan.
- manage day-to-day activities of the software team to ensure each project remains on schedule and on budget.
- create, maintain and track project plans and schedules, cost estimates and problem logs throughout the life of the project.
- Provide routine status reports to clients and management is crucial.
- offer leadership, guidance and motivation to developers and programmers while resolving internal conflicts.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software programs and applications is essential.
- balance the completion of independent work assignments with the management of a diverse staff.
- possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- use critical and analytical thinking to effectively solve problems. In addition, bilingual managers are often in demand due to the international nature of many software projects.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Software Project Manager in a software development company;
- Has worked in an Agile / Scrum environment and applied project management methodologies
- certification in programming and management through PMP, HTML and Scrum methodology.
- capability with the Microsoft office suite of products specifically Project, Word and PowerPoint;
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
- Resilience;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Projects / Jira / similar project management software;
- Great analytical skills;
- Great interpersonal and communication skills;
- A keen grasp of information technology;
- Keen eye for spotting data trends;
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development (Python & AWS) and web technologies.
