Job Description
- Study the project’s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
- Review of specifications and prepare list of suppliers packages for different Project Disciplines.
- Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Handle change order requests
- Prepare comparison sheets for main suppliers prices for different project items and recommend the most competitive ones.
- Coordinate and follow up on materials’ delivery to meet the project’s set plan and the client’s needs.
- Review quantities of the major items before contracting and proceeding with Purchase orders in coordination with the Technical Dep. And site management team.
- Submit and approve the procurement schedule for the project showing a clear plan of delivery of items.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
