Job Description
An embedded Software engineer to work in the Design Engineering Department and will be responsible for software development for embedded applications, together with a team of hardware engineers as a part of the product development team .
- The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing software for custom designed solutions in the automotive sector.
Job Requirements
- Candidates who have at least three years experience in programming will be preferred.
- Typical applications are sensors , user vehicle interface (touch screens, infotainment, HVAC control, etc) and in vehicle communication (LIN, CAN, Flexray).
- The chosen candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and capable to take the lead on the software portion of a project
- Excellent Communication skills in English written and spoken ( this is a must ) .
- A Bachelor‘s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computing Science for embedded .
- Previous experience in Programming will be considered an asset.
- FMEA knowledge is an asset
- Experience in Autosar , Vector tools are an asset
- Sound knowledge of electronics and a hands on approach.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive team approach.
- Sound presentation techniques.
- Personal Qualities of drive, energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to analyze in detail and an eye for detail
