Job Description
- The candidate is responsible to understand the existing SAS code written to generate the retail banking reports. The code includes data transformation (ETL) and reporting logic.
- Good knowledge of SAS/Base, SAS/SQL, SAS/STAT, SAS/Access, SAS/Macros, SAS/Graph, SAS/ODS, SAS BI
- The code should be well understood and documented in terms of
- Data sources that are providing data
- Transformation logic
- Target information that is used by reports
- The documents that are expected to be delivered include
- Data mapping document at the column level
- The candidate will also work with the transformation team to convert the data mapping document into new ETL process.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience
- Experience with Base SAS (SAS Coding), SAS BI
- Understanding of data warehouse principles
- Basic understanding of retail banking
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Fluent in English or Arabic
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Operation research / Engineering from a reputed university
