Job Description

  • Follow up all project documents cycle start from beginning of the project to the end.
  • Review distribution of drawings to all relevant staff/sections via Document Controller under internal document distribution system. 
  • Update and evaluate the logs for all items for all phases of project. 
  • Assists Technical Office Manager in presentations/letters to the customer/company management. 
  • Participate in all of logs reports for all operation sections.
  • Responsible for doc. Control system for all sections between them.
  • Responsible for file validation and document controlling. Before submitting a document or a file it must first be checked to be completed in copies, signed and stamped with proper stamp (IN-OUT).
  • Effectively follow the company’s standard operating procedures in submissions of documents. Standard document submissions must take.
  • Creating and submitting regularly updated logs including all project documents in the standard forms such as material submittal log, shop drawing submittal log, Inspection request log….etc. 
  • Ensuring that all Original approved and important documents filed in the company and the copies distributed among all project stakeholders to be updated and canceling the old revisions. 
  • Receive, file, copy and internally and externally distribute both paper and electronic versions of all documents/ Drawings.
  • Ensures that all documents have no errors in filenames, submissions, etc. before submitting it to the nest department to avoid confusion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ yrs Experience as a Document Controller in Construction Industry
  • Familiarity with project management
  • Excellent work experience on MS Office
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems
  • Proficient typing and report writing/formatting skills.
  • Data organization and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with the relevant regulations regarding document keeping and handling.
  • Time-oriented approach to handling queries and tasks
