What will you be doing?

This position reports to the Emerging Markets Senior Director, Commercial Training and Education. The primary success measures are to train, equip, and certify the sales force on Smith Nephew’s Sports Medicine products, relevant procedural knowledge, surgical and treatment pathways as well as vital enablement and selling skills to exceed sales quota.

What will you need to be successful?

• Extensive experience and exposure to Smith & Nephew's portfolio
• Value propositions, competitive market, and clinical competence as well as subject matter expertise on selling skills, eye for business and sales effectiveness skills.
• Delivery of training to both new and tenured sales professionals on both clinical and procedural acumen as well as the sales enablement, through various venues including live instructor led courses, virtual classrooms, wet/dry lab classrooms and field-based training.
• A demonstrated advanced to expert level of knowledge and application for all the 3 major categories of SPM business including Knee, Shoulder and AET
• Collaboration with HR and Sales Management to remediate gaps in performance.

Successful candidates would need the following:

• Bachelor's degree required preferred in biomedical engineering, Science, Pharmaceutical, Medicine or any comparable bachelor’s degree.
• Adult learning, facilitation skills certification (e.g., Bob Pike Certification, Langevin Learning)
• Train the Trainer certification (e.g., Pioneer, Lane 4, Langevin)
• Coaching skills
• Project management certification.
• Instructional design.
• Certificated challenger is highly recommended.
• Fundamental - Intermediate level certification for respective franchise.
