Job Description
Strategic Role:
- Developing strategic plans to encourage business.
- Using analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics, and interpret results against targets.
- Create annual & quarter financial planning and budgeting.
- Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Works with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs.
- Conduct market research to support strategic business decisions.
- Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals.
Sales Activities:
- Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts.
- Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts.
- Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth.
- Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms.
- Negotiate new projects and contract terms with clients.
Tendering:
- Develop risk assessments and pricing structures for services to work toward commercial efforts.
- Acquire information about competition pricing strategies and build organization library for market quotations.
- Providing insights about market price level.
Account Management:
- Generate sales among clients’ accounts, including upsetting and cross-selling.
- Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers.
- Fully aware of projects’ contracts duties and responsibilities.
- Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Operation, QHSE and Finance departments) to improve the entire customer experience.
- Responsible to ensure that projects’ milestones, deadlines, and duties are met.
- Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
- Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts.
Job KPIs:
- Market Share
- Operating Profit Target Achievement Percentage.
- Revenue Target Achievement Percentage.
- Customers’ Revenue Split.
Job Requirements
- Proven Experience in Logistics / or Supply chain industry is a must
- Experience in multinational company is highly preferred
- Postgraduate study ( Marketing & Sales - Strategic management or supply chain ) will be an edge
- Strategic planning & thinking
- Strong ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
