Job Description
- Ensure mining activities are done professionally according to a very comprehensive mining plan.
- High management skills to coordinate the work between Quarry responsibles, primary & Secondary crushing, operation team & maintenance team.
- High negotiation skills to negotiate with all the quarry relevant stakeholders.
- Closely monitor all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard.
- Liaise with staff on site and deal with any technical or staffing challenges that arise.
- Examine the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained.
- Check that the quarry's production levels are maintained safely to schedule.
- Manage the production performance process and monitor targets.
- Manage and regulate the quarry's budget.
- Assess equipment and production material levels.
- Check that all vehicles on site are maintained to a good standard.
- Maintain up-to-date records and deal with paperwork.
- Ensure that key government health and safety legislation is implemented throughout the site.
- Develop inspection systems and checklists.
- Coordinate with sales and commercial teams.
Job Requirements
- Saudi Arabia Residents are Preferred.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or Science (Mining section)
- At least 12 years experience in Geology & Mining.
- Excellent English command
- Ability to operate within (and support) matrixed leadership & functional teams.
- Analytical mindset, with strong focus on management by data as well as people.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
