Job Description

  • Managing and supporting various Oracle Applications modules and Oracle based third party software and maintaining a stable and firm integration between the various software services needed by business and support the development of numerous operational and top management analytics. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs business process modeling for oracle E- business applications and their integrations with other applications
  • Defines business and system requirements
  • Participates in conducting solution design working sessions, workshops and solution development lab activities which includes configuration, development of test scenarios and testing to confirm validity of the solution
  • Coach others in regard to product-specific best practices
  • Assist users preparing testing scripts and conducts testing and validation processes
  • Planning and working to a deadline
  • Documenting  analysis, solution design, user manuals, and training manuals
  • Working closely with developers and DBAs and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and providing support to ensure continual service and reduced downtime.
  • Quality assurance of applications developments and new implementations
  • Meeting with end users to identify project requirements, develop project plans and schedules, writes, tests and implements software according to the end user’s specifications
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Easily recognizing system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions
  • Assists in support of applications on 24/7 basis
  • Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle support team and third parties as appropriate
  • Complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Policies
  • Complying with AIM methodology and templates
  • Responsible of company information security in applications area

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Expert in Oracle e-business suite Financial Modules, HRMS , Inventory and Eam is plus
  • Expert knowledge in Oracle AIM methodology and templates
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management software
  • Functional Experience of other Oracle Applications
  • Knowledge of Oracle applications developing
  • Knowledge of Oracle database administration.
  • Prior experience in developing Business Process Models is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Business and Analytical skill for complex problem solving
  • The ability to understand the business problems and to use analytical skills to research and resolve
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
