Job Description
Warehouse Operations
- Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Ensure all documentation (packing list, MSDS, etc.) and required space is available prior to receiving any shipment.
- Ensure the products are checked for quantity, labels, packing, etc., and quality (visual) while receiving / storage and delivery and warehouse tally sheet is maintained.
- Goods Reception Note and Delivery Note to be issued as instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor
- FIFO method of delivery to be followed.
- Proper records to be maintained for all inbound/outbound deliveries.
Warehouse Utilization / Management
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
- All PPEs / safety equipment to be monitored/checked regularly.
Procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Any incident/deviation in the warehouse/products to be handled appropriately and to be reported to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
Cost Reduction and Customer Service
- Liaise with clients and transport companies to ensure timely delivery and minimum cost.
- Receive feedback, report to Warehouse Supervisor, and monitor the quality of services provided.
- This is in addition to the functional tasks decided by the company.
Job Requirements
- Excellent user of Microsoft office.
- Good interpersonal skills.
