You are fluent in data engineering and software engineering to build reliable, distributed data pipelines and intuitive data models that allow Bi analysts and business users to easily leverage data in an effective manner.
You’ll need to be forward-looking in architecting a scalable, durable system that interfaces well with existing systems at DataLexing -- and using judgement to know when to diverge from the paved path.
As part of this our team, you will work on diverse data technologies such as Spark, Presto, Dremio, Airflow, Kafka & others to build insightful, scalable, and robust data pipelines and frameworks.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of industry experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field
3+ years of experience with demonstrated strength in ETL, data modeling, data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, reporting, and analytical tools
3+ years of hands-on experience in writing highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets
3+ years of experience in at least one general purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Experience in data processing using traditional and distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Dataflow, Airflow).
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
