Landscape Senior Foreman

Job Summary

Overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces and maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities 1

• Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment.

• Controls and follow-ups the overall work and interacting with site foremen and team members to ensure smooth running of tasks at job site throughout the work day.

  
  

  Responsible for multiple teams of skilled resources to ensure works are executed safely, in time and to highest quality.  Responsible to ensure maximum productivity at minimum cost.

  
  
  
  
• Recruiting and training new crew members.
• Assessing progress and making recommendations.
• Ensuring all crew members follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Completing landscape design and construction.
• Overseeing maintenance of lawns and gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
• Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.
• Preparing spreadsheets and other documents.
• Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates.
• Scheduling training sessions wherever required.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma (degree in Horticulture recommended).

• Relevant certificate may be required.

• Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.

• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Must have 8 years of experience and 3 years experience in similar positions along with GCC experience.

Education
High School Diploma in any related field
