Job Description
- Develop the sector/function/business unit strategy in line with strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing strategies .
- Develop actions plans to achieve strategies and related strategic plans .
- Lead the effective achievement of Marketing sector/function/business unit – objectives through the leadership of the Marketing sector/function/business unit .
- Setting individual objectives, managing performance, recruiting qualified staff, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and overall performance.
- Oversee the consolidation and recommend the Marketing sector/function/business unit budget
- Monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon .
- Develop and oversee the implementation of sector/function/business unit policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Marketing sector/function/business unit activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
- Develop and direct the implementation of comprehensive marking plans
- Plan and direct the execution of campaigns for products promotions as well as launching of new product lines and services.
- Plan and allocate budgets for the company’s communication plans and effectively assign resources amongst projects
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Managing the digital marketing team to develop digital marketing campaigns that ensures and answers the key digital KPI’s
- Manage the digital marketing team making sure that all brands have strong presence across all social media platforms through engaging content and creative campaigns.
- Develop short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research projects, analysis, and interpretation of market data through managing a team of researcher
- Responsible for the PR and events unit as a sub function of the marketing department.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships/partnerships with external parties such as agencies, potential clients and different service providers .
- Building a strong and engaged marketing team through constant guidance, training and coaching
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending different workshops and industry-related conferences.
- Lead and guide the project management team in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives
- Define an optimum organization structure for the Marketing department so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
- Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of sector/function/business unit systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Ensure that all concerned reports of Marketing are prepared timely and accurately.
