Job Description
- Complete the daily cash management process and daily TMS checklist
- Gather closing and current balances
- Assist with the forecasting payments and receipts going through these accounts
- Update the TMS to derive the closing cash position
- Responsible for reconciliations of payments/receipts due the previous day
- Follow up with banks for missing statements
- Payment entry into both the TMS and e-banking systems
- Issue digital cheques and some manual payments (letters/cheques)
- Gather approvals for payment release
- Ensure that correct controls and e-banking security is maintained at all times
- Reduce manual payments and maintain segregation of duties.
- Track and follow up on queries with the banks relating to payment and cash management
- Ensure timely input of trade instruments, overdrafts, deposits, loans and FX into the TMS
- Amendments of instruments, roll-over, partial settlement and refresh maturities on treasury instruments
- Collate the territories quarter and annual forecast submissions on a regular basis so group can manage covenants, debt drawdowns and repayments
- Ensure the treasury policy is followed and communicated
- Assist with input into the monthly treasury pack
- Provide input for internal/external presentations
- Assist finance with month-end reporting and I/C loan balances
- Input/upload of non-editable payment templates in e-banking systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree of accounting, finance or any related field
- Min. 1-3 year of experience in similar position
- Treasury knowledge especially on Cash management and Treasury operations
- Good verbal and written English command
- Good time management and decision-making skills
