Job Description
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within the plant.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures in line with industry best practices and safety standards.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to plan and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement and availability of critical components.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior maintenance staff and operators.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering within an FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work on-site (on-premises) and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
