Job Description
- Negotiating rates for import Shipments with worldwide agents and carriers
- Quoting to customers by written System offer and following up with them to meet demand and minimize costs & to increase Co. profit share.
- Make Reservation Between Our Company And Shipping Line and agents.
- Follow up and review BLs drafts and any additional docs.
- Follow up with tracker & trucking process.
- Manage and follow the customs clearance process activities.
- Responsible for all Import shipments processes and documentation.
- Make all reports and details involved for import shipments.
- Keep a Soft & Hard record for each shipment.
- Follow up all opened operations Check About the arrival date for the shipment with shipping line and inform our customer by that.
- Prepare all documents to our customers and deliver to them.
- Update the status of the shipment on the system and keep the client and sales department updated.
- Send a weekly operation report to the responsible Manager.
- Follow up the agent's invoices and compare it with our agreed rates.
- Issue payment requests to the accounting department attached with related invoices.
- Receive shipment original documents.
