Job Description

For our French team, we're looking for a Telecom Sourcing Expert in order to support the key company deals for our customer located in France. This role is key in reaching profitable growth as Telecom Sourcing Expert is the Sourcing representative within customer projects.
as such, it is in contact with the Customer Project buyer, Network BU expert, and the Sales team, and is part of the pre-sales or post-sales team, to identify and address sourcing related to Telecom commodities & access.

Description

For our French team, we're looking for a Telecom Sourcing Expert to support the key company deals for our customers located in France. This role is key in reaching profitable growth as Telecom Sourcing Expert is the Sourcing representative within customer projects.
as such, it is in contact with the Customer Project buyer, Network BU expert, and the Sales team, and is part of the pre-sales or post-sales team, to identify and address sourcing related to Telecom commodities & access.
The main mission is to support customer projects by providing expertise and support on telecom aspects of the deals.

Responsibilities 

  • Participates in sourcing qualification of network service block, as and when required by customer project buyer (thru discussion with Account team for need qualification and within sourcing organization to check workload issues).
  • Contribute to Access Design optimizations by advising & challenging cost-effective solutions (access technique, POP, Redundancy and feasibility, SLA, Contract terms..)
  • Defines and agrees on the sourcing action plan on Access on the deal with the Account team in accordance with the deal and design constraints.

During the bid phase, Project manage the access action plan, relying on appropriate resources within sourcing (Telco sourcing experts from other regions, local Telco buyers) and as such, ensures complete, accurate, and timely responses for the account team and customer project buyer
including:

  • Review and challenge quotation results and propose optimized
    solution.
  • Prepare inputs for forward costing validation to sourcing management.
  • If required, fill all missing costs with the budgetary price based on average & previous cost
  • Prepare to Spend summary on time for Solution review inputs and update as renegotiations are progressing for different reviews (Commercial review, IC, etc…)
  • During the implementation phase, Collect agreed customer requests, Identify gaps with Pre-sales scenarios and non-valid quotes and launch refresh and renegotiation where required
  • Participates in the Telco sourcing expert community aiming at building a shared and updated knowledge database on Telco aspects of customer deals thru deal lesson learned and capitalization
  • Contributes to bid process improvement.

  • English= Fluent.
  • French= Fluent.
