Job Description
- Developing Strategies
- Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
- Oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies across all categories within span of control including targets, timelines and resource plans.
- Build market intelligence capabilities within team on key markets, suppliers and solutions to support strategy development purposes.
- Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends. Update procurement strategies based on changing market conditions.
- Annual Operation Plan
- Plan and develop annual sourcing plan to meet organization demand on time.
- Ensure the execution of standards, controls, policies, procedures and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the acquisition and reporting of third-party spend across the company.
- Lead communication to MRP supplier’s lead-time, economic order quantity.
- Administer and oversee place & follow-up on all purchase orders request.
- Monitor supplier performance level in service on quality, quantity, cost on timely basis
- Lead updating Supplier capability profiles regarding, Approved list, contacts, supplier equipment, technology, cost structure & pricing.
- Ensure the execution of procurement strategies across the firm to ensure consistent and high quality value delivery.
- Operations Capability
- Administer implementation & sustainability of procurement process and best operational practices.
- Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
- Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
- Implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to support commercial and operational objectives.Compliance
- Collaborate with quality function for supplier’s evaluation and qualifications.
- Lead rigorous and objective contract negotiations with key internal stakeholders, legal department and support groups. People Development
- Strengthen and leverage materials availability team, staff on board train and retain high caliber talent.
- Clarify roles, set performance standard & goals. Coach staff and act as role model, create motivation & reward environment.
- Work on own performance /development objectives
- Develop functional expertise on team.
Job Requirements
- Graduation: University Degree
- Masters: MBA is a must
- Extensive field expertise in commercial and retail corporate
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct others according to company standards
- Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Extensive Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development and compliance.
