Job Description
- Design robust software solutions for bugs or new requirements.
- Create thorough test cases to insure robust software.
- Work both independently and in a team atmosphere providing mentorship to younger developers and peers
- Provide assistance to our support team when an issue is escalated.
- Ability to meet deadlines under strict project timelines while not sacrificing quality in the code and design
- Willing to travel up to 20 % of the time
Job Requirements
*Minimum Qualifications*
- 4 + years of Core Java experience
- Experience with JUnit Testing
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Experience in databases such as Oracle, Postgres or MySQL.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong English is highly preferred
*Preferred Qualifications*
- Experience with optimizing software performance
- Experience with continuous integration practices
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
- Good knowledge in Apache Parquet, Columnar and In Memory DB
- Good experience in GraphQL.
- Worked on Python as scripting tool.
- Developing software with a test-driven approach (TDD, BDD)
- Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Spark.
- Docker - Basic understanding
