Job Description

  • Contributes to setting the overall strategic objectives of El Zenouki Group, and identifies the appropriate Financial strategies and objectives in compliance with the Group's strategic directions.
  • Reviews and approves the Finance operational policies & procedures ensuring their compliance with the GAAP and tax principles, and ensures their ongoing implementation.
  • Reviews the standards and performance measures (KPIs) of the Finance department for the overseen functions ensuring their alignment to the company’s strategic direction, and monitors their timely implementation, ensures the achievement of the set objectives.
  • Reviews and approves the consolidated annual budgets obtained from the different functional divisions based on projected operating costs and targeted sources, and oversees expenditures highlighting any deviations and recommends the corrective actions.
  • Reviews and analyzes the financial statements submitted by the Finance Managers and presents it to the CEO with the findings and recommendations.
  • Oversees the Treasury activities for the Group, analyzes the cash flow plans on a quarterly basis to ensure maintaining adequate liquidity, identifies provisions for contingencies, and participates in evaluating the financial requirements of the company and selects the appropriate sources of funding.
  • Acts as the Financial advisor to the Top Management on any new investments.
  • Ensures efficient implementation of the financial audit process and activities, ensures proper liaison with external auditors, reviews audit results, and ensure taking the correction actions.
  • Provides feedback and analysis to the CEO on profitability and growth results, and recommends required improvement actions as well as financial strengths and weaknesses benchmarking against market performance
  • Consolidates and presents to the CEO periodic reports regarding the overall finance and accounting status of the company, and the various functions on a quarterly basis, outlining, achievements versus plan and challenges and suggestions for improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, major Accounting. CPA or any Financial Masters is preferred.
  • Not less than 15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior position.
